This is wonderful for someone young but if older it is too hard for them to get the sock even on the slider and than had trouble getting foot into sock. Need concept for someone younger having troubles but not for older adults.I owned a Sock Slider for several years and it worked perfectly. I received it as a gift. However, I broke the slider portion when I stepped on it by accident. I replaced it with a new one I bought on Amazon. It was of much cheaper quality. It does not stay together when I use it so it is almost useless. I am forced to try to repair the old version and hope it lasts. The old version is much heftier and has Sock Slider embossed on the side. The new one does not. I only noticed this lately. If you buy a Slider get the one with the name embossed on the side if possible.It was a gift and the person said that it worked great.Plastic not strong enoughthis thing is a god send .took me some time to figure out what the long T handle is for ....removing socks . loading is easy but i dont like the sharp edges on the baseGrandmother has arthritis and most days has issues pulling up her socks. This was helpful and she is going to try to use it to help with her compression socks.My Sock Slider arrived yesterday. There was no instructions on how to assemble it, nor how to use it. Nada?
