Goldhaber has compiled an excellent read on theories of human development. The format of the book is introductory, explaination, review.Which, by nature, makes it redundant at points. However, a certain amount of redundancy is necessary in order to maintain comparison of the various theories presented (i.e., mechanist, organismic, and contextualist) world views.Basic introduction into research construction was appreciated. However, the book did contain many quotes that seemed to occasionally suppliment the text, but not often.Contains a few typos and spelling errors, but what book doesn't.Again, a good book with good breakdowns and examples.
