My grandpuppy loves this lamb. He has had it with him since he was a baby. We had to buy him another one to play with.Miko loves ? this lamb, she really helped with the transition home ? on the first night with us after adoption. The warm pouch (inside the tool) and heartbeat seemed to give him comfort and he barely cried at all after we gave her to him....He snuggled up to her the first day home and they have been beasties ever since. So grateful for this sweet little lamb. We call her Clarice (Agent Starling's first name fron the critically acclaimed movie Slience of the Lambs). Its a morbid association because he abuses that lamb toy with his puppy sneak attacks and constant chewing on her muzzle. But Clarice is hanging in there with him. Well made tool.Our elderly dog recently passed away so I got this Lamb as a friend to our puppy in her place. He LOVES it. However, this product doesn’t have the heartbeat feature mentioned, nor does the warming pack work very well due to the thickness of the material.Seen a lot of good reviews from new dog owners using similar sleep aids for their new pup when kennel training. In theory it’s a good idea but the issue is heat pack and the heart beat. The reusable heat pack was almost worthless and I replaced it with a rechargeable hand warmer. The heart beat mechanic works but unfortunately the battery dies very quickly and the button to turn it on and off is so easy to hit that the pup usually turns in off just by laying on the lamb. Cheaper then other options but ultimately I wouldn’t buy it againMy pup loved this little lamb. The only thing that he did not live was the artificial "heart beat". It freaked him out. The sound is very loud and sounds really mechanical and it vibrates in a weird way. We had to take it out of the pocket. However- with that said- this is his most favorite snuggle buddy!! And the little warming pouch in it helps puts him right to sleep!! Overall we like it but wouldn't pay this price again and probably won't try one with the "heart beat".I read the reviews before buying and was quite scared that this would be flimsy and not work and honestly I can see how people would say their puppies chewed through it because honestly the bottom where the heart and warmer go would be easily ripped. That being said my puppy is not a destroyer of toys so I did not have this issue! First night she cried like normal (an absolutely horrible wailing noise like she was being beat) for about 10 minutes then went to sleep. As the days went on she cried less and less until now when she doesn't cry at all!! The heart hasn't given out 2 weeks later and she's obsessed with the dang thing they cuddle and its so dang cute!! I recommend for anyone with a sad pup during crate training!!Very soft, I have not used the microwaveable heating bag inside because I do not find it necessary, but I think it does help to absorb and hold heat for the toy in general. I would like if the heat beat was a little longer and more durable. It is too easily turned off or on moving the toy or when a pet lays on it. I find as a result that it is not consistently timed and unfortunately the max time listed is 20 min. I had to buy another heart beat replacement from a different company for the same toy. I should have ultimately purchased a different product based on the description and my pet’s needs.This little lamb is a life saver. Crate training my 10 week old puppy has been awful. Last night he cried in his crate for like an hour and I cried in my bed because his cry was so heart breaking. I decided I couldn’t handle another night of that. I ordered this lamb and paid extra to get 1 day shipping. Tonight I put my puppy in his crate and closed the door. He cried for maybe a minute if that and went straight to sleep. He is literally snoring in his crate which I’ve never heard him do. I just bought a 40 pack of the ag13 batteries because I will never let this little heart beat run out of batteries. It’s been an absolute life saver!
