Added this to my Barra 1100Z and couldn't ask for a better conbo. Very clear, love the WH reticles, fair price for the quality.First impressions, very nice looking scope. Smooth operations and decent turrets for the price point, a little mushy even when locked. Glass is amazingly clear and bright. Almost as clear and bright as my Althon Midas TAC HD, and that is is saying something! But… after closer examination, I noticed 3 small hair like speckles near the crosshairs. Honestly, I only noticed the specks because the glass is so good. Now I’m debating if I should keep it and deal with it or return it and hope the next one will be better. Because without the specks on crosshairs, it would be a 5 star rating. So I will rate it 3 stars - over all build quality appears to be nice, but quality control on the glass is lacking. So If the possibility of having small speckles on or near your crosshairs doesn’t bother you then it’s a nice scope for the price. But if speckles will both you then take a chance or look for a different brand with better quality control. I included some pictures, and you can see for yourself if it will bother you or not.Update: I ended up sending the scope back and exchanged it. New scope is GOOD. No specks on the glass and all knobs works smooth like the first. Turrets are still little mushy even when locked, so be aware. So overall a 4 star rating: 5 stars for price, 5 on performance and clarity, and 3 stars for quality control.so far no issues with the scope- glass is pretty clear out to 100 yards- haven't tested beyond that yet- as i just got the scope-- love the side parallax adjustment, so much easier than turning a ring on the end of the scope- also like that the turrets are easily adjustable without having to unscrew a cap to get to the adjustment- I also love the markings on it- makes it easy for holdover adjustments on the fly- The lens caps are pretty cheap though- had to cob mine back together with a small diameter nail, and bend it on either side to keep the cap assembly from falling apart- but now that it's done, it's solid, shouldn't have any more issues- but it's a bit harder to snap cap back on to the cover, but no big deal- Would have liked a larger objective lens, around 60 maybe- and perhaps a little more powerful zoom, but I'm using this for pellet rifle, so 200 yards will likely be max, so scope will be fine for that- if you shoot further, you might wanna consider a bit more powerful zoom. Haven't had it long term, so don't know how it holds Zero yet- haven't really taken it out other than to plink targets from deck yet- so can't comment on how it will hold up- Also- if you will use for hunting small pest animals or game right near dark- you will want a larger glass, 60-80 or so I would think- but that is not my purpose, so this scope works fine for what i bought it for so far. Good price, pretty good glass- no real complaintsBought this for a .22lr. Works great easy to adjust and the glass is quite clear.Very nice scope for the moneyScope is well built and finished. Controls are smooth but maybe a bit stiff. Glass is clear and focus is easy to control. Sighting in was easy. After attaching the scope to my M1a used a laser bore sight and made perimetry adjustments at 25yds. First three shots at 50yds were at a perfect 1 inch low and in a 1 inch group. Went to finish sighting at 100 yds. Minor adjustments on the elevation were done and final groupings were within a 11/2 inch circle. Took a couple of shots at 200yds on a 10inch gong and hit both times. Centering held well on the 308.I took this out of the box set it on the mount and carefully tighten the mounting screws and when I took a shot at 15 yd I actually hit the target without making any adjustments. I was pretty amazed at the quality of this scope because it would rival one costing four or five times more. The only problem that I had was the side focus was supposed to have a large wheel but it was missing from the package. The scope seems to be tracking well. The zoom is nice and stiff and has a lever to aid in adjustment and even at the highest magnification the clarity and eye relief are still better than most anything I own.I liked the light weight of the scope on my NP-03 bullpup air rifle and should be very easy to shoot off hand and in a sitting position or rest ,very nice scope for not much money .I bought the 4-16x44 FFP scope for a springer rifle, my main PCP has a Hawke scope on it. I was dubious of the quality of the Westhunter but after a day at the range I am totally sold on it - the optics on the Westhunter are better than on my Hawke which cost over twice the price. The FFP reticle is fantastic and clear. The zoom and range knobs are firm, the elevation and windage knob clicks are fairly positive but once zeroed I don't normally change these.I would not hesitate to get another and am thinking about selling my Hawke and fitting one of these as an FFP Hawke scope is just too much money for me.Does what it says it will do.arrived on time. No issues.i have many more expensive scopes but this one is GREAT .the clarity of the optics is spot on everything is spot on what a scope for this price, well pleasedThe scope has surprised me positively throughout.I would not have thought to get such a good product for the price.I would like to emphasize here expressly the customer service positively, because the German customs has made something problems with the import of the goods. The customer service has responded quickly and had a quick solution ready in this regard!Top product & top service!
