Amprol® Liquid Poultry Treatment - 1 Gallon for Coccidiosis Prevention & Control - Ideal for Chicken, Turkey & Game Birds

This 1 gallon jug of Amprol 9.6% Oral Solution (Amprolium) is a water-soluble therapeutic product used for the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry, including broilers, replacements, laying hens, breeders and turkeys. Amprolium, the active substance of Amprol is a thiamine antagonist.

The anticoccidial effect of Amprolium is achieved by inhibiting the Eimeria spp. to uptake thiamine.The thiamine requirement for Eimeria spp. is, compared to animals, relative high and therefore Amproleum will cause starvation of the parasite because of thiamine deficiency. As this way is unique, Amprolium does not show cross-resistance with other anticoccidial preparations.

This water soluble therapeutic product is used for the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry and calves.

Poultry: Treatment of coccidiosis in broilers, replacements, laying hens, breeders and turkeys.

Calves: As an aid in the treatment of coccidiosis, caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in calves.

Indications

• Whenever an outbreak occurs in broilers or layers, Amprol can be used without need to worry about withdrawl periods

Mode of Administration

• Orally, with the drinking water
• Use the product for 3-5 days
• Severe Infection: 2.5 L in 1,000 L of water during 3-5 days
• Moderate Infection: 1.25 L in 1,000 L of water during 3-5 days
• Mild Infection: 0.625 L in 1,000 L of water during 3-5 days
• Use as the sole source of amprolium
• No other source of drinking water should be available to the birds during treatment

• Growing chickens, turkeys & laying hens
